Jake Bloss was named the Patriot League Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

In the Leopards first game of their doubleheader on Sunday against Holy Cross, Bloss threw 5.2 innings, combining forces with sophomore pitcher
Nolan Morr to earn the 4-0 victory over the Crusaders and throw the programs first no-hitter since 2004.

The sophomore right-hander walked two and struck out a career-high six in the longest outing so far of his collegiate career, picking up his first win of the season. Â

The Leopards are 4-1 overall on the season and a perfect 3-0 in Patriot League action. They are set for a two-game midweek home series with Kansas on Tuesday and Wednesday before returning to Patriot League action on Saturday and Sunday against Lehigh.
