WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Lafayette track and field team continued their indoor season today at the West Point Open.

On the women's side, the top finish on the day came from Lily Dineen, finishing third overall in the 800 meter run in a final time of 2:29.22.

The 60 meter hurdles was another successful event for the Leopards, taking home fourth and seventh in the race. Leading the way for Lafayette was Jill Warabak (4th, 9.33) and Sophia Dongaris (7th, 9.64).

The high jump also yielded some solid results for the Leopards, as they finished fifth and sixth in the event. Leading the way was Melina Panagakos (5th, 5'1") and Caity McTernan (6th, 4'11"). 

Juliette Delmotte had a successful meet, as she finished fifth overall in the long jump with a mark of 16' 4^1/2". 

Closing it out on the women's side was Grace O'Mara, finishing fifth overall in the shot put with a top throw of 40' 6^1/4".

On the men's side, the top finish on the day came from Quinn Curtin, finishing third overall in the triple jump with a top mark of 42' 6^1/4". 

The 400 meter dash was a successful event for the Leopards, finishing fourth and fifth in the race. Leading the way was K.J. Rodgers (4th, 52.93) and Ryan Moore (5th, 53.63). Another fourth place finish came from Isaiah Moore in the high jump with a top mark of 6' 2^3/4". Finishing seventh in the event was Curtin with a mark of 5' 8^3/4".

The final fourth place finish came from Jordan Anderson in the 60 meter dash in a time of 7.0 seconds. Anderson's preliminaries time of 6.95 seconds ties him for fifth place all time in Lafayette school history in the event. 

Jack Lynett also got in on the action, finishing seventh overall in the pole vault with a top vault of 13' 5^1/4".

Closing out the action on the men's side was the weight throw, as the Leopards took home eighth and ninth in the event. Leading the way was Andrew Swiniarski 47' 0^3/4" and Andrew Bowsher 44' 4".

The Leopards return to action on Friday, January 14th at the Spartan Invite.
