EASTON, Pa. – Junior Ivan Tejada from the indoor track and field team was selected to the Academic All-Patriot League team on Tuesday afternoon.

Tejada majors in biochemistry with a minor in bioengineering. The Lititz, Pa. native maintains a 3.83 GPA and has made the Dean's List 5-of-5 semesters at Lafayette. The junior was an Excel/Bergh Research Scholar and he received the R.S. Porter Bible Prize in Religious Studies.

At the Patriot League Championships, Tejada scored in the shot put with an eighth-place finish and a 51' 11" put. He also secured 15th in the weight throw with a 51' 1.5" final throw.

Tejada sits at No. 3 all-time at Lafayette in the shot put with his 53' 1.75" performance vs. Lehigh in January.
