BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lafayette track and field team continued their season Saturday morning at the Lehigh Invitational.
On the women's side,
Autumn Sands had a strong meet, finishing second in the 1,500 meter run in a time of 4:42.96.Â
Nava Chevan also had a strong showing, finishing seventh in the 400 meter run in a time of 1:00.36.
In the javelin,
Caity McTernan had a great day, finishing fifth with a top mark of 118' 11". In the 100 meter hurdles,
Jill Warabak finished ninth overall in a time of 15.52 seconds.
On the men's side,
Sean Hamilton finished sixth in the 1,500 meter run in a time of 4:07.74.
Ryan Moore also had a strong meet, finishing fifth in the 400 meter run in a time of 52.51 seconds.
In the hammer throw,
Andrew Swiniarski finished sixth overall with a top mark of 163' 7". In the javelin,
Billy Prebola once again delivered a strong performance, finishing third with a mark of 199' 7".
Isaiah Moore also had a solid performance, finishing fifth in the high jump with a mark of 6' 1
1/4".
Closing out the action for the men was
Jack Lynett, finishing tied for sixth in the pole vault with a mark of 13' 5
1/4".
The Leopards return to action on Wednesday, April 13th at the Mondschein Multis.Â
