BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Leopards competed at the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club on Friday and Saturday, placing 11th of 13 teams.
Sophomore Harry Dessel led the way for Lafayette, carding a 68 in round one and a 76 in round two for a 144 overall on the par-72 course. Dessel tied for third, shooting even par in the tournament.
Junior Sean Saw placed t-29 with a 74 and 79 in the two rounds (153), freshman Hudson Pace shot a 155 to tie for 38th (74-81) and sophomore Valdemar Kofod-Olsen carded a 76 and 81 to place t-49 (157).
Senior Carter Ablon (84-77) and freshman Winston Kelenc-Blank (81-80) tied for 63rd, shooting 161 in the tournament. Rounding out the scoring for the Maroon and White were junior Quint Dingledine (163) and freshman Eli Myers (165).
Lehigh snagged the first-place finish in the tournament with David Hurly leading the the way at two-under-par.
The Leopards will return to competition in the spring.
