EASTON, Pa.- The Lafayette men's lacrosse team released its 2024 season schedule on Wednesday. The schedule features eight home games for the Maroon and White.

"As always we want to challenge ourselves out of conference as we prepare to play a tough slate in one of the best leagues in the country.  It's exciting to have eight home games this year as our players love playing here in Easton in front of their home fans," said head coach Patrick Myers. "We also feel that traveling for two scrimmage dates at Bryant and Ohio State respectively, will prepare our team to play competitive, winning lacrosse when we have to hit the road.  Overall, we are looking forward to a very challenging schedule in 2024, and the team is excited to compete."
 
The season commences with a road trip to Delaware on Feb. 10. before the team's first game at Fisher Stadium against Hampton on Feb. 17.

The program's four-game homestand will close out February and continue into March. On Feb. 20, the Leopards invite Drexel to College Hill for a 7:30 p.m. start time. Four days later, Lafayette hosts Binghamton on Feb. 24. The Leopards open conference play against reigning Patriot League champion Army in Easton on Mar. 3.

Conference action continues for Lafayette as it hits the road on Mar. 9 to face Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y. One week later, the Leopards will gear up for another road trip to Worcester, Mass. to take on Holy Cross.

The Leopards return to College Hill on Mar. 23 to face Loyola Md. before the team takes a business trip to Lewisburg, Pa. on Mar. 30 to face off against Bucknell.

Lafayette opens April with a home game against Patriot League foe Navy on April 6. A week later, the squad travels to Boston U. for its final road contest of the regular season. The Leopards host Le Moyne on April 19 for the program's final non-conference game.

For their final home game, the Leopards will face archrival Lehigh on Friday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. This game will also serve as senior day for the program's 15 seniors.

The Patriot League Tournament begins on April 30. The semifinal and championship will take place on May 3 and May 5.

The men's lacrosse team is coming off a 6-10 mark that included games against five nationally-ranked teams. The Leopards also made their first Patriot League Tournament appearance since 2010.
