WILLIAMSBURG, Va - The Maroon and White golf team concluded competition at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club in Williamsburg, Va. on Tuesday afternoon, placed 11th overall after carding a team score of 896.
Sophomore Raymond Dennehy led the Leopards, finishing tied for seventh place after three rounds. Dennehy managed a 67 in round one, a 76 in the second round and an even-par 71 in the final round. Classmate Michael Walsh secured a top-15Â finish, tied for 12th after three strong rounds with a three-over score of 216.
Sophomore Sean Saw posted a 79 in the first round, followed by a 74 in round two and an 80 in the final round to finish tied for 63rd. Classmate Michael Bell rounded out the top four for Lafayette after shooting an 85, 79 and 81 through three rounds.Â
The Lafayette golf team will return to action on April 3 at the Columbia Spring Invitational at Rolling Green Country Club in Springfield, Pa.
