BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman pitcher James Reese has been selected as Patriot League Baseball Rookie of the Week.

Reese appeared in two games during Lafayette's series with High Point. In the series opener, Reese recorded his first collegiate save, pitching one inning and striking out one. In the third game of the series on Saturday night, he earned his first collegiate win, pitching a scoreless 10^th inning while striking out two. This is the first weekly award for Reese.

Senior Pete Ciuffreda was selected as an honorable mention for his play during the series at High Point.

Lafayette continues its season on Friday at 3 p.m., when it travels to Stony Brook to start a three-game series.
