EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette women's basketball Head Coach
Kia Damon-Olson announced five new additions to the Leopards' Class of 2029 on Wednesday afternoon. The Maroon and White's newest members hail from four different states, including Rhode Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
"We're thrilled to welcome this exceptional class of five players to our Lafayette women's basketball family. Each athlete brings unique strengths at every position—size, skill, speed, athleticism, and versatility, that will elevate our roster for years to come," head coach
Kia Damon-Olson said. "Their potential is undeniable, and we're excited about the immediate and lasting impact they'll have on the future of our program. This is a group that embodies our values and vision, and we can't wait to see them grow and succeed on and off the court."

Haylie Adamski | G | Media, Pa. | Garnet Valley
Adamski is a four-year letterwinner in basketball at Garnet Valley, primarily playing as a shooting guard. The Media, Pa. native is in her third year as a team captain and was named an all-state second-team honoree in her junior season, when she eclipsed the 1,000-point milestone. Adamski is also a three-time All-Delco team member and last season she averaged 14.1 ppg and recorded 41 made three-pointers, 73 assists, 191 rebounds and 53 steals. In her freshman season, she was a key member of a Central League championship team, averaging 13.2 ppg. The 6-0 guard is a member of the National Art Honors Society and the National Honors Society. She also serves as the senior class historian at Garnet Valley. Adamski has club experience playing for Philly Rise in the EYBL under head coach Brian Creech. At Lafayette, she intends to major in Economics. She's the daughter of Stacie and David Adamski and she has three young sisters, Addison, Kylie and Alexa and a younger brother, Lucas. Mother, Stacie, played basketball at Kutztown University.
"Haylie is a versatile wing who can really score the ball in bunches. She shoots the three extremely well and can make plays off the dribble," Damon-Olson said. "An underrated part of her game is her ability to defend multiple positions. She is a really smart player and will do extremely well within our system."

Emma Heaney | G | Plainview, N.Y. | Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK
Heaney was a three-sport athlete at Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK, competing in basketball and soccer for four years as well as flag football for three seasons. The Plainview, N.Y. native is a four-time all-county selection in basketball and a three-time selection in flag football. Heaney finished her high school career as the program's all-time leading scorer with over 1,000 points. The 6-0 guard also collected two state championships in flag football, posting undefeated seasons in 2023 and 2024. She was a member of the National English Honor Society and the National Honor Society. Heaney has club experience playing for the Long Island Lightning under coach Greg Flynn. At Lafayette, she intends to major in Economics. She's the daughter of Theresa and John Heaney and has two siblings, a brother, Liam and an older sister, Sinead.
"Emma is an uber-athletic wing who is just scratching the surface of her potential. She has great length and wingspan and will be a nightmare for opposing guards to manage," Damon-Olson said. "She will be able to get to the rim in transition and add a scoring punch with her midrange game."

Maddison Krug | F/C | North Kingstown, R.I. | North Kingstown/St. Andrew's
Krug is a four-year letterwinner in basketball, competing at North Kingstown for two years and The St. Andrew's School for her junior and senior years. Playing at forward/center, Krug is an RIIL 2022 Division I champion and an RIIL 2023 State Runner-Up at St. Andrew's, where she averaged a double-double, (12 ppg, 14 rpg, 4 bpg and 2 apg). In the 2023-24 season, Krug was a NEPSAC honorable mention and she received the Coaches Award. This season she serves as a team captain. The 6-3 forward is an honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society. The North Kingstown, R.I. native has club experience playing for the Bay State Jaguars under head coach Laurie Bollin. At Lafayette, she intends to major in Government & Law. Krug is the daughter of Amanda and Brian Krug and she has a twin sister, Kennedy and a younger brother, Chase.
"Maddison loves to block shots and she will give us more rim protection. She runs the floor and gets early post position well," Damon-Olson said. "Maddi has low post scoring ability and can step out to the perimeter to knock down jumpers as well."

Haley Poser | G | Monmouth Beach, N.J. | The Ranney School
Poser was a three-sport athlete at The Ranney School and a four-year letterwinner in basketball and soccer. She also competed in lacrosse for a season as a midfielder. During her freshman year,
app.com named her a Top-20 Freshman in the Shore Conference and she was later named an All-Division B Central Second-Team selection. Last season, she received All-Shore Second Team recognition and was a Shore Conference Class B Coastal Division First Team member. Poser averaged 19 ppg, 4 apg, 4 rpg and 3 spg, while shooting an efficient 45 percent from the floor, 39 percent from downtown and 79 percent from the line. She also reached the 1,000-point milestone during her junior year. The 5-8 combo guard is a member of the Athletic National Honor Society and was an honor roll student in all four years. The Monmouth Beach, N.J. native has club experience playing for NJ Gemz EYBL under head coach Audrey Taylor. Poser is the daughter of Justine and Shannon Poser and she has two sisters, Mackenzie and Kennedy. Her father, Shannon, played soccer at Monmouth University.
"Haley is a floor general. She does a nice job of running the show and taking advantage of her opportunities to score," Damon-Olson said. "She can shoot the ball from deep and get to the rim. Haley's leadership and competitiveness will make us a better program."

Sofia Valente | G | Paramus, N.J. | Immaculate Heart Academy
Valente was a four-year letterwinner in basketball and a three-year letterwinner in softball at Immaculate Heart Academy. The Paramus, N.J. native is a two-time North Jersey Non-Public A Sectional Champion, 2022-23 New Jersey Non-Public A State Champion and a three-time Big North-United Champion. She's also a three-time all-league selection and was named to the All-Bergen County Team once. In softball, Valente played primarily as a shortstop and is a two-time Bergen County champion, as well as a two-time Big North-United champion. The 5-11 guard is a four-year honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society. Valente has club experience playing for the Empire State Blue Flames under head coach Kelly Guarino. She is the daughter of Catherine and David Valente and she has three younger sisters, Julia, Cecilia and Lucia.
"Sofia is a skilled player who can play either forward position. She will be able to stretch the floor, operate as a point forward, and score in the low post," Damon-Olson said. "She is a good passer and will help us grow our offensive punch."
