EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette head baseball coach A.J. Miller announced the team's 2025 schedule on Friday. The 50-game slate for the Maroon and White features 17 games at Kamine Stadium.
"We set out to challenge ourselves with our schedule, in order to best prepare for Patriot League conference play," Miller said. " We will be playing some very tough opponents the first five weekends, coupled with some new mid-week games. We are excited to see what this team can do this year."
The Leopards start on their 2025 slate by traveling to Hattiesburg, Miss. for a four-game set against Southern Miss on Feb. 14-16. Lafayette then ventures to Western Kentucky for a three-game series with the Hilltoppers on Feb. 21-23. The road swing continues with three games at Davidson as February comes to a close. The following weekend, the Maroon and White travel to Richmond, Va. to take on UMass-Lowell for two games, plus two meetings with host Richmond on March 7-9.
Lafayette returns to Easton on March 11 for its home opener versus Manhattan. Penn comes to Lafayette for three games over two days beginning March 15. A mid-week matchup with Big Ten foe Penn State comes on March 19. The Leopards last took on a Big Ten opponent in 2024, when they faced Rutgers. Patriot League play opens on March 22 and the Leopards will play host to defending conference champion Army for a doubleheader. Lafayette will then host Holy Cross for a doubleheader on March 23.
The Leopards will once again compete in the annual Liberty Bell Classic, with game one slated for March 25 and game two slated for April 1. The championship is set for April 8 at Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Lafayette is on the road again, traveling to rival Lehigh for a four-game series March 28-30.
The month of April begins with a trip to Navy on April 5 and Bucknell a day later. The Leopards take a break from conference play, hosting St. Peter's for a mid-week game on April 9. Lafayette then hosts Navy for three games (April 12-13). Rival Lehigh comes to Easton for a single mid-week game on April 16.
The Leopards return to the road at West Point, N.Y. for a three-game series with Army (April 19-20), before returning home to host Wagner for a mid-week non-conference contest on April 22. Holy Cross is the final conference road swing on April 25-26 before the Leopards wrap up their non-conference slate at Manhattan on April 30.
Lafayette hosts Bucknell on the regular season's final weekend, taking on the Bison in a doubleheader on May 3 and a single game on May 4.
The Patriot League Tournament semifinals are slated to begin on May 10, with the championship set for May 16.
