SENIOR DAY
   Today's contest serves as Senior Day for the women's basketball program. We honor seniors
Kayla Drummond and
Makayla Andrews for all of their hard work over their four-year careers on College Hill. Drummond is averaging 7.6 ppg and 6.4 rpg in her senior campaign and has shot 57.4 percent during her career. Â Andrews became the 20th 1,000-point scorer in the program's history on Jan. 24 against Loyola. The English major currently leads the team in scoring with 13.1 ppg.
SCOUTING BUCKNELL
   The Bison currently hold an 11-16 record after beating Loyola in their last game 74-56. Bucknell is 8-8 in conference play. Head coach Trevor Woodruff is in his fourth season.
   In the teams' last 10 meetings, Lafayette holds a 1-9 record against the Bison. The Leopards last defeated Bucknell on Feb. 25, 2023 (69-61) in Easton.
   Emma Theodorsson and Ashley Sofilkanich have been Bucknell's leading scorers this season, averaging 12.8 and 12.4 ppg respectively. Sofilkanich leads the team in rebounds (6.3) and ranks second in the Patriot League in blocks, (2.1).
   The Bison are scoring 55.4 ppg while allowing opponents 61.7 ppg. In the team's last game against Loyola, Grace Sullivan led the offense with 28 points, while Blake Matthews and Ashley O'Connor added 12, and 10 points. Bucknell is shooting 38.7 percent from the field, 29.6 percent from downtown and 73.4 percent from the line this season. Â

DIALED FROM DOWNTOWN
   As a team, Lafayette ranks second in the Patriot League in team three-point percentage. The Leopards are shooting at a 33.6 percent clip from beyond the arc. Their current pace has them in line with the fifth spot in the program's all-time single-season three-point field goal percentage record.
DAZZLING DONAHUE
   Sophomore guard
Kay Donahue has seen a minute increase since the Bucknell game on Jan. 20. Over the last month, the psychology major is averaging 7.1 ppg, 2.0 rpg and 1.5 apg. In her first 16 games this season, she never appeared for more than 10 minutes. On the season, Donahue averages 16.4 minutes per game.Â
GAMEDAY PROMOTIONS
   On Feb. 3 the women's basketball program hosted Army for National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Prior to tip-off, an all-sports girls clinic was held in Kirby Sports Center. The team's Play4Kay was on Feb. 17. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund has a vision of being a premier non-profit organization dedicated to supporting fighting all cancers affecting women while providing support.Â
ANDREWS AVERAGES
   Senior guard
Makayla Andrews currently leads the Leopards in scoring (13.1), is second in rebounds (5.2) and is shooting 76.9 percent from the line. The Neptune, N.J. native is also lighting it up from the floor, shooting at an efficient 42.9 percent clip. The English major ranks seventh amongst the top scorers in the Patriot League as well as 16th in boards and fifth in field-goal percentage.
SCORCHING SMITH
   Junior forward
Halee Smith is shooting 41.8 percent from three-point range and averaging 7.9 ppg, 4.1 rpg and 1.6 apg. The Biology major has improved her three-point shooting 11 percent from her sophomore campaign. The Alexandria, Pa. native is also shooting at a 70.6 percent clip from the foul line.
