EASTON, Pa.-Â On Sept. 27, the 2024 Patriot League Championship team returned to College Hill for Homecoming weekend and shared in a ceremony to receive their championship rings.

Sherryta Freeman and the 18th President of Lafayette College, Nicole Farmer Hurd. Additionally, the team was recognized on the field at Fisher Stadium during the Homecoming football game.
Field hockey had a historic season in fall 2024, finishing at 14-7 (5-1 PL) overall. Stone led the program to a first-round Division I NCAA playoff berth after securing the Leopards' first Patriot League Championship since 2012. For the title on Nov. 9, Lafayette defeated American, 2-1, in overtime thanks to efforts from the program's first ever First Team All-American and Tournament MVP,
Lineke Spaans. The No. 21 Leopards chased down milestones such as Stone's 100
th career victory at the helm, a league-high six All-Patriot League honorees, four All-Mideast Region selections and a multitude of academic laurels.
