PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Lafayette men's basketball played an exhibition game against Drexel on Tuesday evening at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. 
Despite the Leopards outscoring the hosts 43-37 in the second half, Drexel earned the final decision, 73-65.

Mark Butler, 
Andrew Phillips, 
Christian Humphrey and 
Shareef Jackson rounded out the starting five.
Three student-athletes scored in double figures, led by Phillips' 17 points. The junior hit 3-of-8 attempts from beyond the arc and added a 6-of-14 field goal performance. Williams (14) and Jackson (12) also aided in the offensive effort. Butler netted a team-high 5-of-6 free throws and had a game-high four steals.
Lafayette shot 36.4 percent from the floor (20-of-55) and 3-point range (8-of-22) overall and 53 percent from the line (17-of-32). 
Out of the freshman class, Humphrey, Jackson and 
Luke Bevilacqua all saw court time. 
Kai Murdock, a sophomore transfer, made his Leopard debut with three points and a steal in eight minutes.
Drexel was paced by 12 points apiece from Victor Panov and Shane Blakeney. The hosts shot 41 percent from the floor and 81 percent from the free throw line.
The Maroon and White open the winter slate at St. Joseph's on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
