OLD BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - Junior
Harry Dessel concluded The Shark Invitational on Tuesday by rising 13 spots to finish tied for third. The Barrington, R.I. native used six birdies to card a 67, the second-lowest score of the afternoon at the par-70, 6,625-yard Brookville Country Club.
Dessel's final round of the event allowed the Leopards to jump up to fifth place in the 12-team field. As a team, Lafayette shot 25-over-par for the invitational and even-par for the day. The Maroon and White's score (280) was the third-lowest team score for the third round, only being surpassed by Boston College and Patriot League foe Holy Cross.

Sean Saw rested t-40 after he carded 223 for the invitational. Classmate
Quint Dingledine (224) was right behind Saw, ending the event t-46. Sophomore
Winston Kelenc-Blank's 16-over-par landed t-55.

Michael DiNapoli were Lafayette's two individuals for the invitational. Pace (223) and DiNapoli (226) concluded the day t-40 and t-55, respectively.
Team honors for the invitational went to Boston College after sitting atop the leaderboard five-under-par over after 54-holes. Boston College's Ben Hong captured the award for best individual golfer after he shot a 205.
Lafayette retakes the course on Saturday at Wiltwyck Golf Club when it participates in the Roar-EE Invitational, hosted by Columbia.
