EASTON, Pa.- Amanda Golini (Magadan) '17 planned to partner with the USA Field Hockey Foundation to host two "Pave the Way to LA" clinics on Tuesday, June 24 at Lafayette's Rappolt Field. As of June 20, the clinics have been postponed indefinitely. More details to come this fall.
The under-14 group is slated for 9-11:30 a.m. and costs $150 with an under-21 group from 1-5 p.m. for $240. Golini's former Olympic teammate, Karlie Kisha, will be joining the clinic's staff roster. One hundred percent of net proceeds will go toward Team USA's journey to the next Olympic stage, LA28.
With the experience taking place at the Metzgar Athletic Complex, athletes receive a blend of elite level instruction and a passion for growing the game from the Leopards' very own Olympian.
Athletes of all abilities are encouraged to sign up for a day of foundational skills and advanced tactics, taught by Golini's hands-on approach and deep knowledge of high-performance international play.
Golini played four years in the midfield for the Maroon and White from 2013-17, earning All-Patriot League honors each of her final three seasons, including first-team laurels as a junior and senior.
A native of Randolph, N.J., she led the Leopards in scoring in 2015 and 2016 with 10 and eight goals, respectively, leading to First-Team All-Region accolades in both seasons and a Third-Team All-America honor in 2016.
During her national team tenure, Golini has collected over 150 caps since 2017 and served as a team captain for USA Field Hockey in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Rappolt Field was the home site of a highly competitive group last season with the 2024 Patriot League Champion Leopards closing out the season with a 14-7 (5-1 PL) record, ending with their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2012.
