EASTON, Pa. - Kelly Gonzalez has been hired as Lafayette football's director of football operations.

Gonzalez previously served as a head operations specialist for Monmouth football for four seasons while working towards her degree. While working for the Hawks, Gonzalez was responsible for coordinating team travel, managing recruiting visits and ensuring communication between the coaching staff and athletic trainers.

"We are excited to welcome Kelly to Lafayette, as she becomes the newest member of our team," said John Troxell, the Fred M. Kirby II '42 Head Football Coach. "Having worked in college football for the last four years, she will bring a lot of experience and energy to our office. She is one who is adaptable and will help our staff and players in so many ways."

Gonzalez joins the Leopards after graduating with a bachelor's degree in marketing and management. While an undergrad, she also served as an athletics intern for her alma mater, creating marketing materials and supervising events.

The Leopards open the 2025 season on the road against Bowling Green on Aug. 29, the first of three straight road games for Lafayette. The Maroon and White return to College Hill on Sept. 19 to host Columbia, which serves as the first Friday night game under the lights at Fisher Field since 2018.
