Liam Ebbs and junior right-handed pitcher
Tristan Helmick received Patriot League Weekly honors on Monday afternoon. Ebbs was named the league's Player of the Week, while Helmick was named Pitcher of the Week.

This marks the first weekly award for both members of the Lafayette Nine.

Ebbs drove in two runs and scored three against No. 13 NC State. He batted .444 with four hits, two home runs and one double. The sophomore also stole a base in the two games he played versus the Wolfpack.

Helmick earned his first win of the season on Friday in Lafayette's 11-6 triumph over No. 13 NC State, controlling the NC State bats for much of the game. The righty pitched eight innings and allowed just two runs on eight hits, while striking out three.

Lafayette continues its season on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at La Salle. The Maroon and White will then hit the road on Friday for a three-game series with Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pa.
