Lafayette College Athletics

Lafayette survived another day in Holland. We began the day with our public transportation bus blowing us right off; we just figured that they couldn't take all of our beautiful faces. We caught the next bus an hour later and arrived at the bike shop. A bike tour through the Hague and to the beach was the plan for the day. We put the petal to the medal and finally arrived at our destination about a half hour later. Don't think it was that easy because some of us have not touched a bike since about third grade; also these bikes were a bit different than American style bicycles. But, we are happy to report there were no serious accidents, a few close calls. 

The day at the beach was beautiful. The Nordic Sea area was like your typical shore town. We then learned that our last game was cancelled, so we scheduled a practice/clinic with a Dutch coach for Friday afternoon. Plans are up in the air for tonight. We have a full day of touring tomorrow. We will let you know how tomorrow goes. Until next time . . . Amy and Carolyn
