Suarez gave Charleston Southern (5-12) some breathing room in the bottom of the seventh with his second home run of the game, a two run blast to left that gave the Buccaneers a 4-1 lead.
In the visitor eighth, Lafayette had runners on first and second with one out, but Robbie Sharpton induced freshman designated hitter Spence Green to pop up to second and Moll to fly out to deep left to end the inning.
CSU tacked on three more runs in the bottom of the inning, coming on a RBI-double by Brad Jones off freshman reliever Tom Soldan. The next batter, Chris Kellett smacked CSU's third home run of the game, a two-run shot out to left of off Lafayette sophomore reliever Pat Clark.
D'Angelis, who went 2-for-4 on the day, drove home the Leopards' final run with a triple. The three-bagger plated Gonser, who had reached on a single, and left the final at 7-2.
