LOCK HAVEN - The Lafayette field hockey team dropped a 3-1 decision to Lock Haven on Sunday morning in Lock Haven.
The Leopards kept the Eagles out of the cage for most of the first half as goalie Kelsey Andersen recorded two saves. Lafayette (3-2) fell behind 2-0 when Lock Haven's Blair Wynne scored late in the first period and Amy Hordendork struck early in the second.
After three penalty corners in less that two minutes, Kelly Hilovsky scored off a rebound to put the Leopards on the scoreboard with five minutes remaining in the game. Lock Haven went up 3-1 on a last-second goal.
The Leopards will return home Wednesday for the beginning of a five-game homestand when they take on Penn at 7 p.m.
