Final Results
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - It was a very successful day for the Leopards on Saturday at the Lehigh Games as they closed out the regular season.
Sean Casey led the way for the men's team winning the 800m in a personal best and IC4A qualifying time of 1:51.90. His time is now fifth all-time in school history.
Casey was followed by Chris Pregler and Chris Parker in the 800m. Pregler ran a personal best while finishing third in 1:52.73 while Parker was fourth at 1:55.59.
The Leopards recorded two other victories on the men's side; Ryan McVeigh ran 56.50 in the 400m hurdles to earn the win while Ryan Stasiowski ran away from the competition in the 1500m with a time of 3:58.95.
Finishing second in the hammer with a personal best was Matt Crystal. Crystal's throw of 164' 1" moved him to ninth all-time at Lafayette.
Connor McGee followed Crystal with a fourth place finish in the hammer at 162' 3".
Pole vault sophomore duo of Michael Thompson and Nick Henderson tied for second while jumping 14' 5.25".
On the women's side, Margaret Bruno-Metzger won the 800m in a personal best time of 2:14.28. Following up Bruno-Metzger in the 800m was Allison Hawkey who finished third with a time of 2:16.03.
Also earning third place finishes at the meet were Gwen Steckel in the discus (127'5") and Kelly Senters in the 400m hurdles (1:06.44).
Earning fourth place finishes were Liz Graybill in the discus (123' 5") and Chelsea Marone in the 400m hurdles (1:07.91).
Next up for the Leopards are the Outdoor Patriot League Championships at Bucknell University Friday and Saturday.
