LEXINGTON, Ky. – Senior Bobby McClosky closed out his Lafayette track and field career on Wednesday at the first round of the NCAA East Championships at the University of Kentucky.
McClosky was seeded 34th going into the championships and ended up taking home 20th out of 47 competitors, throwing 211' 6". His throw was the fourth-best throw of his career.Â
The East Stroudsburg, Pa. native finished his senior season with a win at the Penn Relays College Section of javelin and a bronze medal at the Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.Â
McClosky wraps up his time at Lafayette with the third best throw in school history.
