EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette track and field hosted the second Lehigh Dual of the season at Metzgar Fields Athletic Complex on Saturday. The Leopard men beat the Mountain Hawks for the first time in an outdoor dual meet since 2019, 103-100, while the women fell 126-77.
Running for the men, junior Alexander Caba tied the school record in the 200 meters with a final time of 21.10, capturing first place. Caba also earned third in the 100 meters (10.74). Junior John Liedtka claimed victories in both the 110-meter (14.48) and 400-meter hurdles (54.12), securing No. 6 all-time at Lafayette in the 400-meter hurdles. Sophomore Kaseme Leckie collected first in the 100 meters (10.63) and freshman Justice Larkin achieved third in the 110 hurdles (15.26).
Junior Christian Wright and senior Anthony Cuccia garnered first (22.57) and second (22.76) in the 200 meters exhibition, while junior Ilios Millett followed close behind in third (23.24). Junior Harrison Rosen took home second in the 200 meters with a time of 21.46. Senior J.P. Pfisterer enjoyed the victory in the 400, crossing the finish line in 48.51. Classmate Roman Conca reached No. 7 all-time in the 400 meters with a final time of 48.53 for second. Freshman Baker Pott snagged third in the 400 meters (49.06).
Junior Dexter DeMarco sits at No. 9 all-time in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.32, finishing second. Senior Zachary Barban collected third in the 400-meter hurdles (55.30). Freshman Hunter Parsons earned No. 7 all-time in the 800 meters with a time of 1:52.04, placing third. Seniors Quinn Worrell and Cole Chukoskie earned second in the 1500 meters (3:53.54) and 5000 meters (15:04.26), respectively.
The team of Conca, Caba, Leckie and Rosen took home the victory in the 4x100-meter relay with a final time of 40.65.
In the field events, sophomore Javin Petry enjoyed the victory in the hammer throw with a 188' 9" throw, claiming No. 5 all-time. Junior Jared Googel finished third in the hammer throw (166'). Junior Niko Williams achieved first in the discus (151' 2") and third in the javelin (190' 2"). Junior Ivan Tejada placed second in both the shot put (49' 0.75") and discus (131' 11"), while classmate Jack Paradis ended in third in the shot put (47' 5.75"). Senior Bobby McClosky snagged second in the javelin, throwing 204' 4".
Senior Benjamin Hill secured the win in the pole vault, vaulting 16' followed by sophomore Jack Larson and junior Elliott Godin in second (15' 0.25") and third (14' 6.25"). Senior Liam Sawian jumped 21' 10.25" in the long jump for second. Sophomore Kaseme Leckie and junior Andrew Harrison achieved third in the high jump (6' 3.5") and triple jump (44' 4").
In the field for the women, freshman Kennedy Miller earned No. 9 all-time in the hammer throw with a 159' 2" toss, collecting the win. Miller also recorded a second-place finish in the shot put (42' 11"). Senior Zoe Krumwiede placed second in the hammer throw (156' 4") followed by sophomore Anna Cacciacarne in third (142' 5"). Freshman Ava Reese sits at No. 10 all-time in the discus throw with a 132' 9" final throw. Reese also finished third in the shot put (42' 7.5"). Junior Maddie still threw 122' 9" in the javelin for third place.
Freshman Brooklyn Genduso vaulted 11' 9" in the pole vault to claim second. Freshman Sophia Agner and sophomore Leah Rudolph took home second and third in the high jump (5' 2.25") and triple jump (32' 6.5").
Junior long distance runner Ava Severino moved to No. 2 all-time in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a final time of 10:46.48 to secure the victory. Freshman Hazel Calway earned No. 5 all-time and second place in the 3000 steeple with a time of 11:04.76. Sophomore Anya Kazemi and junior Bridget Shaver collected first (17:27.90) and third (17:50.19) in the 5000 meters. Freshman Zoe Cimo snagged No. 8 all-time in the 1500 meters for fourth with a time of 4:40.41. Freshman Faye Carnemolla finished third in the 800 meters (2:16.06).
Sophomore Lilly Bradfield earned No. 10 all-time in the 400 meters with a time of 57.32, garnering fourth. Sophomore Iyun Franklin-Ayeni reeled in second in the 100-meter hurdles with a final time of 14.92. Junior Gabby Buber claimed third in the 100 meters (12.48).
The Maroon and White will head to Navy for the Patriot League Championships on May 15-16 to wrap up the 2025-26 season.
