EASTON, Pa. – The men's and women's track and field teams each earned All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
The women's team had a cumulative GPA of 3.68 with 53 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll nominations while the men had a 3.52 with 34 nominations.
Alivia Bear, Elizabeth Borah, Anna Cacciacarne, Faye Carnemolla, Zoe Cimo, Alexa D'Agosta, Caitlin Doyle, Hannah Ford, Julianne Gallo, Kira Marr, Abbey Nichols, Gabriella Politi, Lexi Powers and Maddie Still contributed to the All-Academic honors for the women with perfect 4.0 GPAs in the spring semester.
For the men, Zachary Barban, Titan Casey, Elliott Godin and Niko Williams achieved 4.0 GPAs.
Bobby McClosky was named an All-Academic Athlete for his academic success during the 2026-27 school year. The integrative engineering major had a 3.67 GPA for the spring semester.
He had a standout senior campaign in the javelin, earning a bronze medal at the Patriot League Championships and qualifying and competing at the NCAA East Preliminary Championships. McClosky ended his career No. 3 all-time at Lafayette and eighth in the Mid-Atlantic region with a 217' 2" throw
