Senior Seamas McGuire and sophomore Alana Taylor competed in the NCAA East Regional Championships in Greensboro, N.C. this past weekend.
The East Region consisted of all Division I schools from the Atlantic Coast to the Mississippi River. The two Leopards compete against student-athletes from LSU, Auburn, UNC, University of Florida, Ohio State, Penn State and more.
McGuire placed 34th in the men's javelin with a throw of 194'3" while Taylor placed 35th with a 130'10".
The meet concluded the 2009-10 season for the men's track and field team.
