John Cain got the start on the mound for the Maroon and White, striking out four batters across four innings of work. Kyle Johnson (1-0) earned the win after throwing two scoreless innings in relief while freshman JP Wodward earned his second save of the year. Ryan Ricci (1-1) took the loss for Patriots.

A wild pitch allowed Robinson to score while Marti moved to second. Patrick Nelson capped the scoring with a RBI single to put the Maroon and White up 2-0.
George Mason added runs in the second and fourth inning to tie it at 2-2, but some timely hitting in the eighth inning put the Leopards up for good. With the runner in scoring position, Marti dug in at the plate and slapped a single into left field that gave the Leopards the 3-2 victory.

Lafayette went down 7-2 through two innings but were able to pull within one with a seven-run eighth inning. The Leopards couldn't complete the comeback however, falling by a final score of 13-12. Mark Glover led off with a walk and was moved to second by a single from Trey Durrah. Drew Jansen plated Glover with a single to left center and Cohen brought home Durrah with a sacrifice fly to right field to make it 7-2.

George Mason continued to build on their lead in with one run in the bottom of the fourth and three in the fifth to go up 11-5.
