MALVERN, Pa. - The Lafayette Men's Golf team shot 3-under par in the second round to complete a 5th place finish in the two-day Wildcat Invitational hosted by Villanova at the White Manor Country Club.
Junior
Will Halamandaris finished in a tie for third place with a 4-under 138 to lead the Leopards contingent. Sophomore
Brendan Cronin shot the low round of the day for Lafayette with a 69 and was part of a four-player cluster tied for 25th at 143 that also included freshman
Ryan Tall. FreshmanÂ
Kazuki Osawa was one shot back at 144 following an even-par 71 on the final day and sophomore
Cole Berger finished T-50 in the 104 player field.

Alec Cwienkala finished as the top scorer among those competing as individuals with a 151. The Leopards were the top Patriot League squad in the 20-team event, one shot clear of Colgate. Lehigh and Bucknell were further back in the pack at 13th and 17th, respectively. Drexel won the tournament with a 551 (-17) behind medalist Connor Schmidt (-11).
The Leopards are next scheduled to participate in the Columbia Invitational which will compress two rounds into a single day on Saturday at the Montclair Golf Course in West Orange, N.J.
