ATHENS, Ga. - Lafayette junior
Will Halamandaris is scheduled to participate in a practice round Sunday on the par-71 University of Georgia Golf Course in preparation for the Athens Regional of the Division I NCAA Golf Championships.
Weather permitting, Halamandaris will tee off on Monday morning for the three-day event where one of the 10 players competing as individuals will advance to the Championships May 24-29 at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Event format: The 10 individuals and Princeton are grouped in threesomes and will tee off from the 473-yard, par-4 first hole on Monday. Halamandaris is scheduled to tee off at 12:50 p.m. along with Princeton's Max Ting and Jordan Warnock (SC Upstate). Teams and individuals will be re-paired according to score after the first and second rounds.
Who moves on?: The low five teams and the low individual from each regional will advance to the 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships May 24-29 at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
