DULUTH, Ga. -- The Leopards ended the first day of the Georgia Invitational at the top of the leader board at three-under par (284). Tennessee Tech and Wright State are right behind them with a three-under team score of 285.
Senior
Kazuki Osawa started the tournament well, tied for second, shooting three-under for the day with a score of 69. He is two behind the leader Mikkel Mathiesen from Wright State. Junior
Martin Vanhaelst and senior
Ryan Tall are not far behind, with Vanhaelst shooting a two-under 70 to end up tied for 4th and Tall shooting a one-under 71 to finish tied for 11th.
Freshman
Michael Walsh carded a two-over 72 to end the day tied for 49th, while fellow freshman
Sean Saw shots a four-over 76 to finish the day tied for 60th. Freshman Matt Cammeyer rounded out the Leopards' lineup, shooting nine-over to finish the day tied for 84th.
Round two begins Monday, with the Leopards' first tee time at 8:30 a.m.
