VILLANOVA, Pa. -- The opening round of the Wildcat Spring Invitational concluded with Marquette University at the top of the leaderboard after shooting a team score of one-over par 281. The Leopards currently sit seventh with a 14-over team score of 294 in the two-day event at Radnor Valley Country Club.
 
Junior Martin Vanhaelst leads the Leopards, sitting in a tie for 15th with a two-over par 72. Senior Kazuki Osawa and freshman Sean Saw are close behind, tied for 22nd at three-over par 73. Senior Ryan Tall and freshman Raymond Dennehy complete the Leopards lineup, tied for 49th with a 6-over par 76.
 
The second and final round begins Tuesday at 9 a.m.
