WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Lafayette track and field team participated in the ECAC/IC4A championships on the weekend, with the men finishing 16th (17 points) and the women 22nd (10 points).
Billy Prebola continued his strong season, finishing second in the javelin with a mark of 206' 5" in the 15-thrower final.
Harrison Greenhill placed fourth in the shot put (55' 5") in the 15-thrower final. This mark broke his previous school record he set back in 2019. He also finished seventh in the discus with a toss of 161' 4".
Jordan Anderson took seventh in the long jump with an effort of 22' 113/4".
On the women's side,
Autumn Sands placed second in the 5,000 meter run in a time of 16:49.06 in the 20-runner field. The effort broke her own school record set she established earlier in the season.
Becky Hartman also had a strong race, finishing seventh in the 10,000 meter run in a time of 36:38.87.
Closing out the action with a new personal best time in the 3,000 meter steeplechase was
Cassandra Wilk who ended ninth in 10:51.54 in the 18-runner field.
