NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Senior Ryan Tall carded a four-over par 74 in the second round of the NCAA Division I Men's Golf New Haven Regional on Tuesday at the Yale Golf Course. His two-round score of 146 places him 55th at the par-70, 6,409-yard venue.

Tall recorded a triple bogey (his first of the season) and a double bogey on holes two and three, respectively, but recovered with birdies on Nos. five and eight. He rallied to shoot two-under par on the back nine, going bogey free while firing off birdies on holes 14 and 16.

Ryan Gerard of the University of North Carolina is the individual leader after carding a pair of rounds of 65. His Tarheel team is in second place in the team competition, trailing Wake Forest by one stroke. 

The final round of the tournament is scheduled for Wednesday with Tall teeing off at 9:31 a.m.
