BETHLEHEM, Pa. - On a picturesque
Sunday at Saucon Valley Country Club, senior
Quint Dingledine earned a top-10 finish in the last invitational for the Leopards in 2024. After shooting even-par 72 in the first round of the Lehigh Invitational, Dingledine managed one birdie and carded a 78 in round two. Dingledine (150) landed in a tie for seventh place in the 44-golfer field.
Lafayette took on the par-72, 7,051-yard Grace Course, where the team shot a collective 621, finishing
in sixth place among nine teams. In his second round, junior
Harry Dessel birdied twice on his way to a three-way tie for 16th after shooting 10-over-par for the event (77-77).
Senior
Sean Saw (77-83), sophomore
Winston Kelenc-Blank (78-82) and freshman
Travis Robertson (75-85) tied for 33rd after shooting 16-over-par for the weekend. Junior
Valdemar Kofod-Olsen shot 171, tying with two other golfers for 42nd.
Siena College took home bragging rights after carding 592 for the event, while Binghamton's Brandon Conner finished as the best individual golfer, shooting three-under-par over two days.
Having concluded their fall season, the Leopards will break for the winter before beginning their championship season in the spring.
