GLADSTONE, N.J. – The Leopards competed against the Mountain Hawks in the annual Presidents' Cup at Hamilton Farm Golf Club on Thursday, falling 14-6 in the match-play event.
During the better ball portion of the match, junior Quint Dingledine and freshman Winston Kelenc-Blank took home a 4-and-3 win, competing against Jahan Bains and Edmund Broderick.
Freshman Eli Myers and sophomore Valdemar Kofod-Olsen secured a victory in the alternate shot competition, going 2-up over Charles Schrohe and Paulius Malcius.
Meyers collected a win in the singles over Malcius, 2-and-1. Sophomore Boyoung Chang defeated Matthew Quinn, 3-and-2, and junior Sean Saw garnered a 2-and-1 victory over Aiden LeBlanc. Lastly, Kelenc-Blank secured another victory over Bains in singles, winning 3-and-1.
The Maroon and White will compete one last time this season at the Patriot League Championship hosted by Lehigh at Saucon Valley Country Club, Grace Course, on April 26-28.
