BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Leopards claimed fifth place in the Patriot League Championship on Sunday at Saucon Valley Country Club, Grace Course led by a fifth-place finish from junior Sean Saw.
Lafayette completed the tournament with a final score of 905, after a 296, 307 and 302 in the three rounds. Saw carded a 221 (70-76-75) overall, just five-over-par on the par-72, 7091-yard course.
Fellow junior Quint Dingledine secured a 226 after a 76 and a pair of 75s, finishing t-15. Sophomore Harry Dessel finished t-17 (76-77-74-227).
Senior Carter Ablon tied for 36th with a 77, 79 and 78 (234) and freshman Winston Kelenc-Blank tied for 30th, shooting a 233 (75-79-79). Rounding out the scores, freshman Hudson Pace managed a 236 (75-82-79), tying for 42nd.
Loyola secured team laurels, shooting an 881, with Loyola's Carlo Pizzano earning first place overall with a two-over-par 218.
