NEW YORK, N.Y. – Five runners participated in the Dr. Sander Scorcher on Friday at NYC Armory. Senior Nava Chevan broke the school record, a record she set in the 800 meters with a final time of 2:07.51. Chevan placed seventh in the meet and her time is currently No. 18 in Division I for the 800 meters.
Junior Alexa LaSasso finished 2:09.18 in the 800 meters for 10th, securing No. 2 all-time at Lafayette.
Sophomore Ida Moczerniuk qualified for finals in the 60-meter dash, ending in second with a final time of 7.56. Junior Maeve Waldron collected 18th in the 60-meter open with a time of 8.00.
Junior Quinn Worrell reached No. 6 all-time in the 800 meters with a time of 1:53.62, placing 18th.
The Maroon and White compete Saturday at the Gulden Invitational hosted by Bucknell at 11 a.m.
