Leopard Football Shifts Two Games on 2025 Slate

Lafayette to play first home night game since 2018

EASTON, Pa. -- Lafayette football will play under the lights at Fisher Stadium in the Leopards' home opener vs. Columbia on Friday, Sept. 19. The game, set for a 6 p.m. kickoff, is the first night football game on College Hill since the 2018 season. Lafayette first began playing early-season night games beginning with the 2007 season.

The Leopards kick off the season two days sooner than initially planned, as they will travel to Bowling Green on Thursday, Aug. 28 (in a game originally slated for Aug. 30) with 6 p.m. kickoff. That season-opening matchup is the first of three straight on the road. The Maroon and White travel from Easton Pa. to Easton, Mass. to face Stonehill on Sept. 6 and then open Patriot League play on Sept. 13 at Georgetown. A trip to Oregon State follows on the third Saturday in October.

Other key dates include Homecoming/Family Weeekend on College Hill vs. Princeton on Sept. 27 and the 161st Meeting of Lafayette vs. Lehigh on Nov. 22.
