EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette baseball team captured five All-Patriot League selections on Wednesday afternoon.
Senior outfielder
Easton Brenner and junior catcher
Ethan Swidler were named to the First Team.
Brenner was second in the league in batting with a .340 average. The Houston, Texas native clubbed three home runs along with having 51 hits, 30 RBIs, eight doubles and scoring 34 runs. The Economics and Policy Studies major had 15 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games.Â
Swidler finished fourth in the conference in batting with a .331 average. The Economics major had a team-best 20 multi-hit games along with hitting five home runs, a team-high 59 hits and driving in 33 runs. This is the second First-Team All-Patriot League selection for the San Deigo, Calif native, who was a First-Team selection at first base in 2024.

Joe Skapinetz and freshman infielder
Alex Barrist garnered Second-Team honors.
Zarrilllo finished his career as the all-time home run leader in Lafayette history with 24 and second all-time in games played with 193. The senior batted .289 in 2025, with six home runs, 11 doubles, 37 RBIs, 38 runs scored and a team-best 11 multi-RBI games. This marks the second All-Patriot League selection for the Economics major, who was a first-team selection in 2023.
Skapinetz led the Patriot League in strikeouts in 2025 with 29 and finished his Lafayette career with 189 total strikeouts, the third most in program history. The Far Hills, N.J. native earned a win and had a 5.83 ERA in a team-leading 63.1 innings pitched.
Barrist had a stellar first year on College Hill, batting .298 with 30 runs scored, 31 RBIs and two home runs. The Newtown Square, Pa. native had a league-leading five triples.
