EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette baseball team earned three Academic All-Patriot League selections on Thursday morning as senior outfielder

Ethan Swidler and senior infielder
Michael Zarrillo collected the honors.
Brenner secured his second Academic All-Patriot League selection, with his first coming in 2023. The senior, who carries a 3.47 GPA in Economics and Policy Studies, was second in the league in batting with a .340 average. The Houston, Texas native smacked three home runs and drove in 30 runs on 51 hits while scoring 34 runs. Brenner had 15 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games and was named to the 2025 All-Patriot League First Team.
Swidler holds a 3.52 GPA and picked up his second Academic All-Patriot League honor, with the first coming in 2024. He finished fourth in the conference in batting with a .331 average. The Economics major had a team-best 20 multi-hit games along with hitting five home runs, a team-high 59 hits and driving in 33 runs. The San Deigo, Calif. native is a two-time All-Patriot League honoree.
Zarrillo earned his second Academic All-Patriot League selection, with his first coming in 2023. The senior, who carries a 3.82 GPA in Economics, finished his career as the all-time home run leader in Lafayette history (24) and second all-time in games played (193). The Atlanta, Ga. native batted .289 in 2025, with six home runs, 11 doubles, 37 RBIs, 38 runs scored and a team-best 11 multi-RBI games. Zarillo earned All-Patriot League Second-Team honors in 2025 and was a first-team selection in 2023.Â
