STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Maroon and White track and field team continued its indoor season Friday afternoon in New York for the Fastrack Indoor Collegiate Qualifier. 

Freshman Ashleigh Lustgarten took home second place in the 3,000-meter run, clocking a time of 10:06.65. Freshman Kira Marr finished closely behind Lustgarten in fifth place (10:23.15).

In the field events, junior Juliette Delmotte placed eighth in the triple jump (37' 1") while junior Melina Panagakos took home eighth place in the college high jump (4' 11"). In the college pole vault, freshman Isabella Allen placed seventh with a vault of 10' 0". Junior Sophia Dongaris earned a fifth-place finish in the college long jump, posting a jump of 16' 0.5". Senior Grace O'Mara managed a 10th-place finish with a throw of 47' 8" in the weight throw. 

For the men, in the pole vault, sophomore Jack Lynett managed a fourth-place finish, vaulting 14' 19.25". Senior Andrew Swiniarski took home fourth place in the weight throw with a throw of 58' 0". Classmate Aidan Tai placed eighth in the college 60-meter dash, clocking a time of 7.27.

The Leopards return to action on Friday at the Bucknell Tune Up meet in Lewisburg, Pa.
