Harbin was a three-time NCAA championship qualifier in the hammer throw, the only athlete to achieve that feat in Patriot League history. She was also the first Lafayette female to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 20-pound weight throw.

During her Patriot League career, Harbin captured conference titles in the hammer throw in 2007 and 2008 while finishing second in 2006. In the discus, she placed second in 2008 while also owning top-10 finishes in 2005 and 2007. In the indoor season, she was just as adept, winning the 20-pound weight throw in 2008, while landing second and third, respectively, in 2007 and 2006. At the Penn Relays, Harbin claimed first-place results in 2007 and 2008 and was the first Lafayette champion in the National Division. She also earned top honors in the College Division in 2006.

Following her senior season of 2008, Harbin won the Charles L. Albert '08 Award, given annually to the top male and female athletes in the senior class. After graduating with a degree in Economics, her athletic career continued. Harbin competed in the Olympic Trials in 2008 and 2012 and was a USATF National Championships qualifier in 2013. She still holds Lafayette school records in the hammer (209') and 20-pound weight (66' 2.25") throws.

A native of Clarksville, Tenn., Harbin earned her Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Temple in 2010. She is currently a Senior ERP Support Specialist at Builders FirstSource in Dallas, Texas.
