Hall of Fame
The 1986 and 1987 soccer teams were a combined 35-5-3. The 1986 installment posted a 17-3-1 record under coach Steve Reinhardt and captain Chris Anderson. The Leopards beat Lehigh and Drexel in the league tournament to win the East Coast Conference championship. That season, they also recorded wins over Boston College, Penn State, Hofstra and Delaware, finishing the season on a 15-1-1 streak while going undefeated in conference play. The team featured ECC Tournament MVP Paul Bernieri and All-ECC First-Team selections Bernieri, Peter Lerner, Matt Lancor, Rick Lehman and Tom Gillan.
The 1987 squad was 18-2-2 overall and captained by Anderson and Bernieri who helped lead the team to a second straight East Coast Conference title. That title came by way of wins over Drexel and Rider in the ECC Tournament. The team outscored opponents 56-19 and registered a win over No. 15 Philadelphia Textile. The Leopards were paced by ECC Player of the Year Peter Lerner, ECC Tournament MVP Lehman and All-ECC First-Team selections Peter Lerner, Mike D'Angelo, Anderson and Bernieri.
