The squad leader on two straight East Coast Conference title-winning track and field teams, Sharon won the ECC indoor 55-meter high-hurdles and 55-meter dash and the outdoor 200-meter dash for four consecutive years.

Sharon, who set 10 school records and captured 16 ECC titles in her four years, left as the school record holder in the indoor pentathlon and long jump and outdoor 200-meters and 100-meter high-hurdles and was on the school record setting indoor 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relays and the outdoor 4x100-meter relay. A recipient of the Class of 1913 trophy, Sharon was twice named MVP of the ECC Indoor Championships.
