Stefan Ciosici played basketball at Lafayette until his graduation in 2000 and was inducted into the Maroon Club Hall of Fame in 2011.

Stefan CiosiciĀ '00, the 1998 Patriot League Player of the Year, led the men's basketball team to two Patriot League regular-season titles, two Patriot League Tournament championships and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 1999 and 2000.Ā The 6-foot-11 center, who was also the 1996 Patriot League Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player of the league tournament in 2000, ranks fifth in Lafayette history with 1,496 career points and is the second-most prolific rebounder in Patriot League history with 831 boards. He is also among Lafayette's all-time leaders in blocked shots, free throws and field-goal percentage. After graduation, Ciosici was the 29th overall selection in the United States Basketball League draft and appeared with the NBA's Indiana Pacers in the Shaw's Summer Pro League. The former Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection is currently a substitute teacher in Manatee County, Fla. while pursuing a career as a full-time teacher. He resides in Bradenton, Fla. with his wife, Abby.
